Out of food money? UCI has Emergency Meal Swipes + grocery/Lyft help

If you're in a financial emergency and have no meal plan, UCI Basic Needs offers Emergency Meal Swipes for the dining commons (fall applications opened Sept 28; citizenship status doesn't affect eligibility). Apply via the EMS form on basicneeds.uci.edu/emergency-meal-swipes and attach your financial aid award letter if you have one - incomplete applications aren't reviewed. If you're CalFresh-eligible, apply with a CalFresh Advocate first. They also offer a one-time grocery card if you can't get to the pantry and emergency Lyft credit for basic-needs trips.
