Last day to drop without a W: Fri Nov 6, 5 PM (dean's approval)

Per the UCI Registrar's Quarterly Academic Calendar 2026-27: you can drop a Fall 2026 course without receiving a W until Friday, Nov 6 at 5:00 PM, but dean's approval is required (go through your school's academic counseling office). Changing a grading option with dean's approval is allowed until Fri Dec 4 at 5:00 PM. If a class is going badly, talk to your advisor before Nov 6. Source: reg.uci.edu (rechecked Oct 12).
